The Sanhedrin is comprised of 8 dayan, 1 dayan from each of the 7 (current) parties, and 1 dayan from the Mandegi party. The Mandegi party appoints the President of the Beit Din, while the majority appoints a Prime Minister and the minority appoints a Speaker, these 3 make up the Beit Din, the Knesset is the body comprising of the 5 non Din dayan, the Din consists of the 3 leaders, and the Sanhedrin refers to the entire united body. This is an evolving prcoess.

The Ten Devarim (Commandments).
We understand these Ten Commandments as
morally binding upon all of Israel (Buber).
Our mission is to unite all of Israel
under this constitution regardless of religious belief.
We understand the associated Laws (613 mitzvot) of the Ten Commandments not as morally binding upon all Israel but as duty, and therefore a personal choice.
The Sanhedrine has recommended the observance of the Biblical dietary laws, the laws of circumcision, and the laws of
observing the Biblical festivals and Holy days, but since these Laws were not given directly to all of Israel but
through Moses we can only recommend these Laws as duty and not obligation.
